Narayan Sewa Sansthan
It is a matter of great satisfaction to introduce ourselves as one of the leading Non-Government Organization engaged in the service of suffering humanity such as physically handicapped, backward and poor tribals, desperate addicts, down-trodden women, helpless orphans, and destitute children, irrespective of their caste, creed, and religion.
With the purpose of service firmly embedded in their heart some like-minded friends founded Narayan Sewa Sansthan on 23rd October, 985 in Udaipur, Rajasthan.
The Sansthan has a well-equipped Polio Hospital and Rehabilitation Research Centre of 101 beds with qualified team of \orthopedic Surgeons, orthotists, Physiotherapists, Paramedical staff, Pathological Lab., x-ray Machine, two well-equipped Operation Theatres and all other necessary items. This is the only Polio Hospital of its kind in Northwest India.
In the field of disability,
this institution has arranged engagements and marriages of 26
and 25 disabled couples respectively, till end of JUNE 2000. So far more than 11,000
Polio Operations have been conducted and many Diagnosis camps have been arranged.
The Government of Rajasthan
has recognized this institution as the best Sansthan in the year 1994-1995 for
ideal social services and awarded a cash prize of Rs. 50,000/-.
The Government of Rajasthan has also honored it by awarding certificate of State Level Best Organization in the field of disabled welfare on 3rd December, 1998.` Many other district level awards and appreciation Certificates from other bodies have also been awarded to this Sansthan.
Donation to Narayan Sewa Sansthan is 100 % exempted from income tax under section 35 AC. and 80G. Donations are welcome.
