Hindustan Lever Employees demand voluntary retirement scheme

The executives and managers of Modern Food Industries Ltd have made a representation against the management of Hindustan Lever Ltd for failing to implement the voluntary retirement scheme in the company. The H.L.L has introduced the VRS with such terms and conditions that the executives and managers who have put in more than 30 years of service are being taken for a ride. Options to retire or to remain in service are a matter of right to life with dignity.

Even under the WTO regime dignity of life should not be put on the bargaining counter is the spontaneous reaction of the concerned people.
