National Convention of the PUCL
Saturday April 2 & Sunday April 3, 2005, at Raipur, Chhattisgarh

The National Convention of the PUCL is to be held on
Saturday April 2 & Sunday April 3, 2005, at Raipur,
Chhattisgarh. You are invited to attend the
Convention.

The venue of the Convention is: Ramswaroopdas Niranjan
Lal Dharmshala on VIP Road (next to Hotel Babylon)
Raipur, Chhattisgarh. Kindly inform immediately Dr.
Binayak Sen, General Secretary. Chhattisgarh PUCL,

Chhattisgarh – 492001 if you intend to attend the

If you would like the Convention to discuss any
resolution, kindly send it to me immediately. In
accordance with clause 7 (5) of the Constitution the
National Executive, acting as the Subjects Committee,
would meet on Friday April 1 to finally decide upon
the resolutions, etc., to be discussed by the
Convention. The proposed resolution should reach me by
March 1.

The National Convention will review the work of the
Organisation. The General Secretaries of all the State
branches are requested to prepare brief reports in
about 1000 words of the work done by the branch after
the 8th National Convention held at Jaipur on April
24, 25 1999.

Document on Right to Human Development, as approved by
the National Council at Ahmedabad and Published in the
January issue of the PCL Bulletin is also to be
discussed and adopted.

The tentative agenda would be (1) General Secretary's
Report and discussion; (2) reports from States (3)
Right to Human Development: document presented by
Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh PUCL (4) Resolutions
finalised by the subjects Committee (5) Any other item
with the permission of the chair.
The agenda of the meeting will be finalised by the
